Lets get something straight. I am a jerk. I am obnoxious. I am lazy. And I don’t care, because I am FILTHY RICH. I am much too important to even be sitting here writing this right now. So I'll keep it short.......

My Rick Jerk Review

Arrogant jerk is the unique marketing catch here. He has used a straightforward approach and "jerk" tactics to actually attract people, it's really the money he is using. He includes pictures of his own fancy cars with statements like "I just bought two more cars and another mansion... did you? and "What proof do these losers have of their earnings? That they make a few thousand dollars a month? Big deal. I make millions."
Millions? I doubt it but if his "jerk" approach works than you can't argue with success.

Well I have to admit I got hooked into this marketing sheme even though I am not a fan of ridiculous statements like the ones he makes above but the book overall was actually enjoyable and I did find it useful. He is shameless in his honesty about how to design a good site with all the marketing methods that are proven to work. It does not focus on one topic but discusses all the different ways to make money online including Adsense but f you are looking for strictly Adsense information than skip this one.

It also inlcudes a section on scams and how to avoid them. He does mention "black hat" seo stategies, not a good idea for long term success and certainly frowned upon by Google. There are also lots of lists to refer to, the book is only 47 pages and an easy read but full of good information. I liked the style and the fact that there is no fluff or fillers here just straight content and lots of useful information. Good as an overview of online marketing and written well.

I have to give this a positive review because of the sheer honesty here and there is some great advice, unique style, might be offensive to some but worth a try. It is an interesting read overall, being a jerk has really paid off in this case!

Interesting guy, I actually like his style. Not bad information for the money.

Arrogant Rich Jerk but solid information, Apr 06, 2006

I bought it, printed it out and read it. A lot of the information is not new if you've marketed awhile, but some of his approaches were new to me. One thing that he doesn't seem to grasp (because he IS a rich jerk) is that some of his tactics cannot be put in place by people making meager incomes and trying to support a family, yet dream of becoming rich.
Additionally, I'd like to see him focus more on how to develop the right 'rich' mental attitude, and teach a few more free ways to promote your online businesses for those who aren't wealthy or even close to it. Many of his methods would not work for the average guy or gal without causing them financial hardship (such as PPC or buying links). Otherwise, I'm pleased with his ebook and consider it a valuable asset to my marketing library.

In a nuthsell, if you want to know to succesfully market online, this book is a great powerful start. If you need a 10 pound Internet Marketing aficionado portfolio, this is not for you. However, this is one of my top 3 IM purchases from 2005. Awesome book that will give
you plenty of ideas!
